NATURAL DYE SILK BANDANA

$58.00

All of these raw SILK bandanas are hand-dyed with dyes derived from plants and insects. Allowing to color these textiles using less water, with a process that is completely non-toxic and biodegradable. All colors are sustainably derived. In addition, several of the colors are “wildcrafted”, meaning the dye is made from wild, foraged sources.

Naturally dyed bandanas are screen printed by hand with a pattern inspired by Art Deco illustrator George Barbier, 18th century French textiles and a border tribute to Indian woodblock printing. Made from silk noil, a fabric with a slightly nubby texture that is naturally warm and wicking.
