Online orders generally ship within the week. Most items are in stock and ready to ship. For jewelry, each piece is made by hand and sometimes custom made to order, so please allow 2-8 weeks for production time on some styles.

If your order is time sensitive, please contact us to make arrangements. 

All orders are shipped via USPS First class or Priority Mail with tracking and delivery confirmation. Order costs reflect shipping costs, packaging, and time. Please contact us if you have any special shipping or gift wrapping requests.

Mountainside is not liable for any lost, stolen or unclaimed packages, please be sure your shipping situation is safe and secure to ensure smooth delivery.

We try to keep packaging minimal, so all receipts are via email. Orders are mindfully packaged using eco-friendly materials in an ongoing effort to support sustainability. Read more about that here.


Store Credit & Exchanges

We hope you will be delighted with your Mountainside Jewelry or General Store goods! The best effort is used to accurately describe and portray all items and provide relevant information. Feel free to ask any questions you may have before placing an order. Also note that there may be slight variations in your handmade jewelry that do not appear in the product photos. This is what makes your piece unique!

Store credit & exchanges are accepted within 10 days of receiving your order. We accept returns for change of mind, size changes, and style changes in exchange for a store credit only. We do not offer refunds unless an item arrives with a manufacturing fault. After 10 days, all sales are final. All exchanged items must be sent back in original, unused condition and with original packaging and without signs of wear. We reserve the right to deny any unreasonable exchanges. Online or in person returns must have an invoice or receipt. Items purchased from other retailers are not able to be exchanged. 

Select pieces are not eligible for an exchange –  custom orders, one of a kinds, 10k/14k gold pieces, vintage, gift cards, apothecary, pantry items, paper goods, books, craft kits, seasonal decor, candles + items from our sale section.

All items purchased using a promo code or items that are marked on sale are considered a final sale unless otherwise specified. We do not offer price adjustments. Any sales, promotions or discounts can not be applied to past orders.  Shipping and handling charges and taxes paid are not refundable. Customers are responsible for shipping costs. Please fill out our Contact Form to submit your request - must include contact info, order # and full name, date of purchase and a brief description for the return or exchange.

10k & 14k gold orders are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned. If you would like to try a design before ordering 14k gold, we recommend placing an order for the gold vermeil version first, to ensure the size or design are perfect for you. Then, that piece can be exchanged for the solid gold version.

Be sure to confirm appropriate sizing for rings prior to placing an online order. The best way to determined your ring size is to check with a professional, you can stop into any jewelry store and ask to be sized. Please note that all inlay stone items cannot be re-sized due to the nature of inlay, so please be thorough when choosing your ring sizes.


Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of this business orders must be cancelled or amended within 24 hours of order. Please contact us to arrange.
