Shipping

Most in-stock items ship within one week of purchase. Because each jewelry piece is handcrafted, and some styles are made to order, please allow 2–8 weeks for production on select designs. If your order is time-sensitive, we encourage you to contact us prior to purchase so we can confirm availability and timing.

All orders ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail and include tracking and delivery confirmation. Shipping costs reflect postage, packaging materials, and handling time. Mountainside is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or unclaimed packages once they have been marked as delivered. Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and secure at the time of purchase.

We aim to keep packaging minimal and environmentally responsible. Orders are packaged using eco-friendly materials, you can read more about our sustainability practices on our Materials page.

Store Credit & Exchanges

We hope you are delighted with your Mountainside Jewelry or General Store purchase! Each item is carefully described and photographed; however, due to the handmade nature of our work, slight variations may occur. These natural differences are part of what makes each piece unique.

We accept returns for store credit or exchange only within 10 days of delivery.

We accept returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Size adjustments (where applicable)
  • Style exchanges

After 10 days, all sales are final.

Returned items must be:

  • In original, unworn condition
  • Free of signs of wear or damage
  • Returned with original packaging

We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions.

Shipping charges and taxes are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Items purchased from other retailers are not eligible for return or exchange through Mountainside.

To initiate a return or exchange, please complete our Contact Form and include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Date of purchase
  • Brief description of your request

We do not offer price adjustments on previous purchases. Promotions and discount codes cannot be applied retroactively.

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom orders
  • One-of-a-kind pieces
  • 10k and 14k solid gold pieces
  • Vintage items
  • Gift cards
  • Apothecary, pantry items, candles
  • Paper goods, books, craft kits
  • Seasonal décor
  • Sale items or items purchased with a promo code

All 10k and 14k gold pieces are final sale. ~ If you would like to try a design prior to investing in solid gold, we recommend first purchasing the gold vermeil version to confirm sizing and style. The vermeil piece may then be returned for store credit and applied toward your solid gold order.

Please carefully confirm ring sizing before placing your order. The most accurate way to determine your size is to be professionally sized at a local jewelry store. Due to the construction of inlay stone rings, these styles cannot be resized. Please select your size thoughtfully.

 

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders must be canceled or modified within 24 hours of purchase. After this window, shipping or production may have already begun and changes cannot be guaranteed.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to request an adjustment.
