Palo Santo, the “holy wood” of South America is rich in essential oils and spreads a pleasant scent of eucalyptus, pine, mint and lavender. The smoking of resinous wood goes back to traditions dating back thousands of years and is considered one of the oldest healing rituals.
The Palo Santo fragrance is said to have a calming and even healing effect, it is used to clean stuffy rooms and stimulate creativity. Less mystical, but certainly just as effective against insects and mosquitoes.
Light one end of the piece of wood and place it in a fireproof dish. The scent will spread throughout the room and the embers will go out after a short time. You can re-light a stick up to 100 times.
Our Palo Santo is sustainably sourced working with local organizations who harvest it from dead trees in Peru.
