This lover is a water prism. Its triangular shape, when filled with water will refract sunlight into the full amazingness of visible light (rainbow central). Brass/copper loop on top and bottom.
Instructions:
Fill with water. Add a small plant cutting if you want.
Hang in a window or spot that gets DIRECT sunlight.
Observe magic.
The rainbow can be fickle, and you will see that many things come into play: the time of day (ie the suns position in the sky), how much light you get in your home, the angle of the prism itself, etc. You will have to hang it and play with what works for your space. When its not lit, it still makes a lovely floating vase, and creates optical rainbow effects within the water/glass.
